Who You’ll Be Working With
Dan Rooney
As a former elementary school teacher in San Francisco, I know firsthand what it means to live and thrive on a disciplined budget. Teachers don’t earn lavish salaries, and my professional experience made me highly adept at making every dollar work hard—not just for myself, but for my friends and family. Founding Rooney Wealth Management LLC has formalized this passion, allowing me to bring that same focus, discipline, and practical knowledge to managing your financial life.
I hold the Series 65 license, qualifying me as an Investment Adviser Representative. I chose this specific designation because it ensures I can legally act as a fiduciary—always putting your interests first—to develop comprehensive financial plans and actively manage your investments. I hold a bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Cruz and a master’s degree from the University of San Francisco.
I am based in Sacramento and proudly serve clients throughout the entire state. In my free time I enjoy trying new coffee shops and taking my adult kickball league too seriously.
